CELPIP Speaking Task Bank: Task 4

Hello CELPIP taker,

Are you ready for CELPIP speaking task 4? Because that is the aim of this blog post!

As you know in CELPIP Speaking Task 3, you need to describe a picture. However, in CELPIP Speaking Task 4, you need to make predictions based on the same picture.

The two tasks are similar but they have some differences, too.

Here are some of my top tips for CELPIP speaking task 4:

• Start with a general sentence

• Make predictions based on the people and their actions

• Use various future tenses - not just will

• Describe how people might feel

• ALWAYS have a general conclusion

Once you start hitting those, you'll get a high score.

Your job now is simple, look at the pictures below for 30 seconds, describe what might happen next for 60 seconds. Remember, if you are having trouble with this question - check out my offer at the bottom of this page!
